annual appeal 2022-2023

 Dear Friends and Neighbors,

On behalf of Community Resources for Independent Seniors (CRIS), I am writing to you today with a request for support for our 2022 Annual Appeal. CRIS is celebrating 13 years of service to our community. Our mission is to identify and coordinate supportive services for individuals 55 years of age and older living in the greater Cazenovia area. Surveys indicate that most seniors choose to remain in their own homes for as long as possible. CRIS works to provide the support that will enable seniors to continue to enjoy independent living at home, to have access to local services and to stay connected to friends, family, and community.

During 2023, CRIS will continue to offer special interest programs bringing expert speakers to cover topics that are vital to senior health, safety, home, and community. Our Lend a Hand program identifies volunteers who help by lending a hand with everyday tasks. Our CRIS CAT program, supported by volunteer drivers, provides transportation to our community’s medical facilities and services. To receive information on all our services, please sign up for our newsletter or visit our website to view our calendar of events at www.cris-caz.com.

As the year draws to a close, we ask you to consider supporting CRIS. Your donation will help us continue to provide vital services to our seniors.

Respectfully,

Bob Ridler

911 Address Signs help emergency service workers save lives!   In an Emergency, locating the caller’s address as soon as possible is the first step in saving lives and property. Time wasted searching for the proper address is one thing many callers to 911 don’t have. Think not only of yourself but of your friends and family that visit you.
